Copenhagen Sakura Festival

Once a year people gather at Langelinie park in Copenhagen for the annual Copenhagen Sakura Festival.

The Copenhagen Sakura festival has been held at Langelinie Park since 2007 to celebrate the blossoming of the sakura (Japanese cherry blossom). It is a way for everybody to experience Japanese culture, taste Japanese food, and celebrate the arrival of spring!

This is a free event and everyone (that includes you) is welcome to participate, which takes place every year in April.

So, if you happen to be in Copenhagen during this time and you want to experience something different, in beautiful surroundings, then head down to Langelinie park and be a part of this years Copenhagen Sakura Festival.

While you are in the area, you are of course, welcome to come by for a visit at Amaliehaven, which is only a short walk, where you can enjoy an ice cream or a coffee.
